The Albuquerque Biological Park is the Albuquerque Aquarium, Rio Grande Botanic Garden, Rio Grande Zoo and Tingley Beach. The Albuquerque Aquarium takes visitors on a journey on the Rio Grande from Albuquerque to its mouth in the Gulf of Mexico. River species of freshwater, estuarine, surf zone, shallow water, coral reefs, offshore and deepwater are represented on the road. Other highlights are a tunnel eels, sea horses, jelly and a tank of 285,000 gallon ocean where light brown,sand tiger, and Blacktip sharks swimming alongside colorful reef fish, moray eels, sea turtles and species of open ocean. The Rio Grande Botanic Garden is situated on Albuquerque Aquarium and bordered on the west by the famous Rio Grande and the largest forest in Cottonwood-gallery world, the lush and peaceful Rio Grande Botanic Garden is an oasis in the desert. The Rio Grande Zoo was founded in 1927 and 64-acre Rio Grande Zoo offers visitors close encounterswith more than 250 species of exotic animals and natives. most common species include seals and sea lions, chimpanzees, gorillas, orang-utans, elephants, polar bears, giraffes, hippos, camels, tamarins, koalas, Mexican wolves, mountain lions, monkeys, jaguars, zebras and rhinos.
